The most advanced information-processing system ever.
The engine behind civilizations, science, and all human knowledge. The same brain you have.
Each floating particle is someone connected to the network right now, somewhere in the world.
Quantify your
Intellectual Potential.
We study how the human brain processes information, and we build the instruments that measure it.

A score means nothing until the world is standing next to it.
Every assessment is placed against a live normative database drawn from 140 nations. The map shows the testing centres currently reporting; the feed beside it is what they are reporting.

Three dimensions, one distribution.
We do not report a single number and leave. Each dimension is estimated independently, then placed on the population curve that every reported score is read against.
Pattern Recognition
The ability to find order in a system that has not announced its rules, and to notice the moment the rule breaks.
Spatial Reasoning
Holding a shape in mind, rotating it, and knowing what it looks like from the other side before you get there.
Deductive Logic
Stripping a problem of everything that does not bear on the answer, then following what remains to the end.
Specimen items
One real item from each battery, built by the same rules the assessment uses. Nothing here is scored.
Work out which one completes it, then choose. The rule is shown once you have answered.

Reading the curve
Scores are scaled to a mean of 100 with a standard deviation of 15. Roughly two thirds of the population falls inside the shaded band; 95% falls inside the outer one.
Learn moreFour decades of measurement, still running tonight.
The norming surface is recalculated every night against the full historical record. These are the figures it was built from.
Standardised sittings in the normative database.
Represented in the V4.2 norming release.
Overall internal consistency across the battery.
Measurement error, in IQ points, at the mean.
Built around a single constraint: silence.
Six laboratories, an anechoic chamber and an archive that still opens on paper. The campus exists because measurement at this resolution cannot happen anywhere noisy.

Standard V4.2: Global Intelligence Benchmarks
Prof. H. Jass, Dr. M. Oxmaul
The updated norming release, covering 6.9 million standardised assessments across 140 nations. Reports the revised difficulty and discrimination parameters for the full item pool, an overall reliability of α = 0.962, and a standard error of measurement of 2.41 IQ points at the mean.
Non-Verbal Item Invariance Across Forty Language Groups
Dr. S. T. Wong, D. G. Igger
A multi-group item parameter calibration testing whether matrix-reasoning items behave identically once verbal content is removed entirely. Differential item functioning is negligible in 38 of 40 groups.
Response Latency as a Predictor of Fluid Reasoning
Dr. S. T. Wong, Dr. M. Oxmaul
Millisecond-resolution timing across 210,000 sittings shows that the speed–accuracy relationship, rather than either measure alone, carries most of the predictive weight for novel problem solving.

The assessment adapts as you answer and takes about twelve minutes. Your result is placed against the same normative database every figure on this page is drawn from.
